Push-ups refer to any exercise where you push your body up from a lowered position; the exercises can be performed with the hands-on solid ground, by holding onto an object, or against one’s chest. Push-ups are a common form of physical exercise for developing triceps, pectoral muscles, and anterior deltoids.
